completely different from my usual stuff but here goes....
This is Balvaird Castle in Perthshire a stunning and very spooky place which reminded me of the old horror films(hence the title) my other half things it looks like the Munsters house lol well worth a visit as quite quiet comments and criticism appreciated
I've always loved this shot. The actual quality of the photo is superb. Everything is very crisp, and all those tonal shades make it a class shot.
The castle itself looks very creepy, as it sits there...waiting.
The b/w format does give the image that extra depth, as well as adding the all important atmosphere. I like the contrast between the smoothness of the sky, and the rugged foreground. The tree also suits the mood.
There's a lot in this shot, and so much detail. Great image.
thansk matey you always give such great comments wish i was as good with words but hey ho ..... it was a great day that day but the p[lace did have a quite eerie atmosphere brilliant

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
